LIVESTOCK

Purebred cattle shows and sales are held throughout the week for Angus, Hereford, Charolais,

Maine-Anjou, Shorthorn, Shorthorn Plus, Simmental, and Foundation Simmental.

We are welcoming All Other Breeds to the Watertown Winter Farm Show.

If your breed doesn't have a breed show and sale during the week, you can compete in the AOB division. For more information, contact Nick Tesch at 605-520-3992.

If you are interested in consigning, please contact the breed managers for more information.        Entry forms due to breed managers by November 22, 2024.

SUPREME ROW

CATTLE DEEMED CHAMPIONS, IN EACH BREED, WILL

COMPETE FOR THE TITLE OF SUPREME CHAMPION.

​

On Friday, the judging of the cattle will take place with the females to begin followed by the bulls. Supreme Bull, buyer and consignor, will receive $2,000

Supreme Female, buyer and consignor, will receive $1,500

Those that consigned or purchased a Reserve Supreme Champion animal will receive $500

A TOTAL OF $9,000 WILL BE AWARDED!!

NORTHEAST 4-H CALF SHOW

SATURDAY - FEBRUARY 15, 2025 - 12:00 PM

The Northeast 4-H Calf Show is for 4-H members enrolled in the beef project from Brookings, Clark, Codington, Day, Deuel, Grant, Hamlin, Kingsbury, Marshall, Roberts, and Spink Counties.
